Officers urge people to take steps to protect their jewellery

Officers in Northamptonshire are urging people to take steps to protect their family jewellery, following three separate incidents involving the theft of Asian gold in the region. All three incidents  are believed to be linked. One happened on Burford Way in Wellingborough at about 2pm, one on Wentworth Avenue, Wellingborough between 9.45am and 3.25pm, and one on St Saviours Road, Kettering, between 3pm and 4pm. In each of the three burglaries, large amounts of Asian gold was stolen. Detectives want to reassure people that specialist officers are carrying out a full investigation whilst our Community Engagement officers offer advice and reassurance to victims.
